Be The Ice Sculptor

"Be The Ice Sculptor" is the final project of School of Motion's "Animation Bootcamp."

Although it may seem like a simple phrase, it actually carries a deeper meaning:
”Don't fixate on learning the tool, makes no difference, learn the craft”.

This motto really resonated with me when I first heard it.
Often, we get caught up in learning the technical aspects of a skill instead of truly understanding the theory
and developing the necessary skills.

I hope this project encourages others to shift their approach to learning
and prioritize mastering the craft, over just the tools.

Styleframe and Backstory:

“Be The Ice Sculptor” was the first big project I tackled alone. Compared to the original project, in the Reel, I modified the character of the lumberjack and I thought it was nice to give him my appearance and transform him from a woodcutter to a Motion Designer.
My scene favorite of this video?
Definitely, The dragon that flutters at the second 43!
